Georgeson Botanical Garden is located on the UAF campus on Tanana Drive. Here's a
map. If you're leaving the Student Recreation Center (SRC) located on Tanana Drive, turn right, go through the round-about and head toward Sheep Creek Road (or the Parks Highway). You'll find this sign on the right side of the road.
The garden is a quiet, peaceful place to wander around, read a book, take photos of your family, or just to enjoy the afternoon. Here are a few photos we took this summer.
The garden is open daily 9am-8-pm. Cost is $2.00 and under 6 years old free. The gift shop is open through the end of August. There is a guided tour on Fridays at 2pm, throughout the summer months.
